- Description
- This is a source slection best value competitive unrestricted solicitation. This contract will upgrade the existing base wide fire alarm reporting sysem and upgrade 25 individual building fire alarm systems. The work will include demolition of the existing system as required by the latest editions of the National Fire Protection Association and National Electrical Code. The project includes a design-build portion to design and install a non-proprietary fire alarm reporting system utilizing the existing Ethernet fiber optic network. A design is also required to reconnect the existing fire pump control circuit currently on the McCullough loop system. Both systems shall be UL Listed upon completion of construction. The fire alarm system shall be installed at the Provost Marshall's Office. A redundant fire alarm reporting system shall be installed at the Main Fire Station. The contractors will be required to provide 1. Technical Factors -1) Technical Solution; 2) Corporate Experience; 3) Quality Control and Key Personnel; 4) Past Performance; 5) Safety; 6) Small Business Subcontracting Effort and 2. Price.
