Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation. GENERAL INFORMATION Requisition Number: F1C3466080A500 Request for Quotation (RFQ) This solicitation and the incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09, effective 19 May 06 This acquisition is: Set Aside 100 % for SMALL BUSINESS North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS): 541990, Size Standard: $6.5 M SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED CLIN # 0001 1. The services to be rendered under the terms of this solicitation include the furnishing of all labor, transportation, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to replace piping, valves and testing the system upon completion for the aircraft live fire trainer. 2. All pipes and valves under the control tower must be replaced due to corrosion a) The replacement pipe and all fitting must be schedule 80 b) The hydrostatic relief valves must be ASCO 0099702 or equal valves designed for LPG and meet NFPA 58. c) Solenoid valves must be ASCO 8210G3B or equal. d) All replacement parts to be used have to meet T.O. 35E1-2-13- and NFPA 583. 3. All work to be done must follow T.O. 35E1-2-13-1 (available through http://www.afcesa.af.mil/). a) Testing must be completed as out lined in NFPA 58 and T.O. 35E1-2-13-1. 4. Personnel inspecting or operating the system must be certified to operate the ACTF (Air Craft Training Facility) SOLICITATION PROVISIONS The following provisions, with addenda (where noted), apply to this acquisition.
