- The following clarification is provided on some technical wording: The type of refrigerant for California is R-22. Freezer is indoors and is air-cooled. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQF5F2MA5322A100 is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09, Effective 19 Apr 2006. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification Standard: 333415; Small Business Size Standard: 750 employeess. CLIN (0001) Walk-in freezer dimensions 6?9? c 7?9? x 7?6? with 5.5? foam insulation per California energy requiring R-36, floor 22 gauge stainless steel over ?? plywood over insulated floor. Finish-Stucco embossed galvanized steel interior/exterior. Refrigeration: 2 ? HP. Copeland condensing unit with matching Bohn evaporation coil. Install walk-in freezer and mount refrigeration piping, condensate drain line and drain line heater. Start unit and set temperature at ?10 degree farenheit to include one year (1) warranty parts and labor, five year (5) on compressor. Location: 452 MXS/MXM, March ARB, CA 92518, (B2312). SCOPE: Contractor shall provide all material and labor to install the following: 1. (1) Refrigeration piping. 2. (1) Condensate drain line and drain line heater. 3. Start unit and set temperature at ?10 degree farenheit It is strongly advised that all potential bidders arrange for a site visit prior to submitting a bid. Contractor shall also be responsible for the following: Contractor shall fill out and return March ARB IMT 3140 for (consent for background check) for all workmen assigned to the project immediately after contract award for obtaining base passes. PERFORMANCE TIME: The delivery time for materials is 14 days or sooner. Installation must be executed and completed within 3 days of material delivery. WORKMANSHIP: Work must conform to all local, state, and federal codes and requirements that are common to this trade. SITE AVAILABLITY: Work hours shall be between the hours of 0700 and 1700 Monday through Friday except Holidays. WARRANTY: All parts and labor shall be warranted for a period of at least one year and five year (5) on compressor. A Site visit is scheduled for 05 Jun 2006 @ 1000 am and we will meet at the Front Gate entrance to March Air Reserve Base.
