Description
Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to "Replace Finishes, Bldg. 64, 2nd & 3rd Floor Corridors?, Project 573A4-05-107 at the VA Medical Center, Lake City, FL. The NAICS code is 238320/size standard is $13 million. Estimated cost range is $100,000-$250,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SDVOSB (SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS). Bids or offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. (b) Definitions As used in this provision: ?Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern? (1) means a small business concern (i) not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans and (ii) The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16). NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The issue date is 6/27/06. Pre-Bid Conference: 7/13/06 at 9:00am in Room B18, Bldg. 19. Bid Opening: 7/27/06 at 3:00pm in Room B18, Bldg. 19. Only hard copies of this solicitation will be available upon request. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the issuing office. All potential bidders must obtain a DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to do business with the VA.
