- Description
- Notice of Intent. The U.S. Customs and Border protection intends to modify delivery order HSBP05J08921 with Northrop Grumman Information Technology, 9737 Cogdill Road, Knoxville, TN to add a limited amount of license plate reading and ancillary equipment due to its compatibility with systems presently installed at Ports of Entry and its connectivity with a CBP data base. The modification will facilitate the purchase and installation of NVP equipment that replaces obsolete readers and retrofit kits to preclude installation delays and bridge a gap in the timing for negotiation of a future system-wide contract. The customized retrofit kits provide replacement computer parts assemblies for system components that are no longer manufactured. The action covers new equipment or interim retrofits for approximately 15 ? 20 lanes at various Customs Ports of Entry. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. See note 22.
