- PRESOLICITAION NOTICE RED ROCK RANGER STATION UTILITY LINES DESCRIPTION: Construct utility line service extensions from points of connection on the southern edge of the Village of Oak Creek to the Red Rock Ranger Station site. Construction will include extensions of a 12? ductile iron water main, an electrical conduit bank, a telecommunications conduit bank, and all necessary trenching , backfill, compaction, testing, and appertenances. Individual and joint trenches will be necessary. Work will be in the ADOT State Route 179 right-of-way and will take place concurrent with the ADOT AR179 Improvement Project, resulting in the need for heavy coordination between this project and the ADOT project. The project is located on State Route 179 south of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona: approximate milepost 304.7 north to the intersection of SR 179 and Wild Horse Mesa Drive. Take Interstate 17 to Exit #298 (Sedona Interchange), drive north for approximately 6.7 miles to Milepost 304.7, this is the approximate southern boundary of the work. Work extends north from here on the east side of the proposed ADOT right-of-way to the intersection with Wild Horse Mesa Drive in the Village of Oak Creek. The formal Solicitation will post on or about June 20, 2006 with Bids due on or about August 4, 2006.
