- Description
- This contract is to provide surveys and designs for instream improvements to False Creek, a tributary to North Meadow Creek, which flows to Meadow Creek in the South Fork Clearwater River sub-basin. The objectives of the design will be to stabilize this stream and improve fish habitat for resident and anadromous fish. Early surveys indicate that this system is degrading. Work under this contract will require existing condition surveys in False Creek from the mouth to the headwaters. False Creek is approximately 2 miles in length. Surveys will be detailed enough to determine limiting factors. The contract will also require completion of the designs needed to implement instream improvements addressing the limiting factors. The solicitation will be timed to allow fieldwork to be completed in 2006. Contract completion date is anticipated to be in November 2006. This is a pre-solicitation notice package should be available mid to late April 2006.
