Description
SOURCES SOUGHT Defense Distribution Center Corpus Christi (DDCT-L) requires a large volume of packing materials to support the Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking (PPP&M) mission; however, they lack the storage space necessary for keeping large volumes of packing materials on hand to support their mission. Therefore, the Defense Distribution Center is seeking sources to provide paper cushioning machine that uses recycled paper multi-ply rolls and crinkles paper into a form that can be used for package cushioning, block and bracing, void fill and wrapping. DDCT?s mission is located on Naval Air Station Corpus Christi (NAS CC). Consumption rate is approximately 3 pallets per month. Paper cushioning is used on-demand during operating hours. The paper cushioning making machine requires prompt maintenance, of no more than two days response time. Procurement of recycled multi-ply paper will be filled monthly to ensure an acceptable on-hand quantity at all times. A paper cushioning machine uses recycled paper, multi-ply rolls and crinkles paper into a form that can be used for package cushioning, block and bracing, void fill and wrapping.
