- JPL THERMAL/STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS SUPPORT SERVICE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) The California Institute of Technology?s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (Caltech/JPL), operating under a prime contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), seek responses to a Request for Information (RFI) for Thermal/Structural Analysis Support to JPL?s Thermal and Cryogenics Engineering Section (3540). The Thermal and Cryogenics Engineering Section is interested in establishing a contract with a potential source to provide additional thermal/structural analysis support, as needed. The necessary criteria, as a minimum, shall include: ANALYSES - Perform thermal/structural analyses of ground and flight robotic spacecraft, instruments and electronics boards. TESTING - Review, evaluate, analyze, provide verification test support and report on thermal/structural design implementation. RESPONSES are due on or before June 16, 2006.
