Description
NAICS Code: 81233 NAICS Code: 81233 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is seeking a company capable of providing 225 Nylon Tactical Jackets for CID Agents. The Tactical Jackets will be issued to U.S. EPA's CID Law Enforcement Officers. This product will be used while conducting criminal search warrants, surveillance, training, etc. and will be worn during ongoing criminal leads, investigations, emergency situations, etc. This product should have the necessary features to help conceal and retrieve government-issued law enforcement equipment. Requirements: Date Required: June 30, 2006 Material: - Nylon (preferably 3-in-1 type; others will be considered) - Waterproof/ All weather proof - Wind resistant - Thermal or Flannel Lining (zip in/out lining) a must (multi-weather conditions) - Zip on/off sleeves (preferred) - Must be able to conceal weapon at waist length - Side zippers in order to access weapon(s) in event of an emergency - Pockets (internal and external) - Ventilation (both Front and Back is recommended) - Attachable hood (roll up preferable) - Reflective Lumenators (preferable) - Vendor will be required to provide sample(s) upon request to Diana Sheppard, Project Officer Other: - Pull down tabs (2 front panel and 1 back) - EPA-CID Circular Patch embroidered or sewn on, 4" in height- Front left pull down tab (patch will be provided by EPA) - "Federal Agent" silkscreen letters Gold in color and 2" in height- Front right pull down tab - "Federal Agent" silkscreen letters 3" or 4" in height on back centered pull down tab - Jacket color: Navy - Quantity: 225 - Sizes: TBD at time of vendor selection, both men and women sizes (XS-XXXL) ***The successful vendor shall provide a sample jacket to Diana Sheppard to review for acceptance prior to production.*** Shipment: Merchandise shall be shipped to the following address: US EPA-CID Attn: Diana Sheppard 2180 Perry Lane Road, Suite 105 Brunswick, GA 31525 The award for this purchase order will be based on best value.
