- The National Naval Medical Center, (NNMC), Acquisition Mgmt. Dept, Bethesda, MD on behalf of the Naval Medical Research Center/Malaria Research Program intends to award a sole source procurement to Mabtech, Inc. for 1) Anti-Human IFN-g mAB 1D1k, purified 1mL, 1mg, Batch #50 (68 vials); 2) Anti-Human IFN-g 7-B6-1 Biotinylated 1 mL, 1mg, Batch #33 (4 vials) and Streptavidin-Alkaline Phosphatase Conjugate, 1mL, Batch #38265 (3 vials). These reagents are used in the Elispot assays done in the Malaria Dept. for the Clinical trials. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate w/only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP.
