- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W912HZ-06-T-SYNERGIX is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated prov isions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business under NAICS code 423420, size standard not to exceed 100 employees. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Vicksburg Di strict (MVK), Vicksburg, MS, has a requirement for: Quantity 1, Xerox Synergix Copy System 510DP Three Roll. System specifications include: 4IPS Synergix Scan System with Scan-To-Net; 10 D/A1/min Speed Upgrade Key; Power Stacker 1000; Freeflow AccXES with 512 MB RAM Memory; ADOBE Postscript 3.0 Enablemen t Key; Supplies Starter Kit 1 Toner, 1 Developer, 1 Roll 36 x 500 Bond; AccXES Client Tools Software, ADI, HDI, HP-RTL Drivers; Delivery, Setup, Installation and Training; 90 Day Warranty on All Parts and Labor. System shall be setup and installed on site, and CADD/GIS staff trained in its general use. System will be used in a Windows environment for printing from Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Systems graphics programs, and from CADD/GIS applications from Bentley Systems (MicroStation) and ESRI (ArcMap, et al.). Item shall be delivered to USACE Vicksburg District, ATTN: CEMVK-ED-D, 4155 East Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183. Delivery, Setup, Installation and Training shall be completed within 60 days from date of award. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial, applies to this acquisition. AWARD SHALL BE MADE TO THE RESPONSIBLE OFFEROR WHOSE QUOTE IS DETERMINED TO B E LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3 shall be submitted with each quotation.
