Description

SOURCES SOUGHT- SOLE SOURCE ACTION This is a notice of the Governments intent to award a Sole Source Action. The Government intends to award a sole-source action to General Electric Multilin Company, Levine Lectronics and Lectric for five (5) new GE Multilin G60 Generator Management Relay s for the Hartwell Power Plant in Hartwell, GA. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. Any int erested parties may identify their interest and capability and respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all quotations received within 15 days after the date of this synops is will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotat ion, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties shall include, in writing, the Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and business size; and a statement regarding their capabilities and qualifications to provide requir ed relays described above, via email to Sarah Emerson, Contract Specialist, sarah.h.emerson@sas02.usace.army.mil, no later than 2:00 pm, 16 June 2006. Based on the response received, the Government will determine whether competition is feasible for this r equirement.
