- THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO THE THREE FIRMS IN THE SMALL ARMS INDUSTRIAL BASE: COLTS MANUFACTURING, FN MANUFACTURING LLC (FNMLLC), AND GENERAL DYNAMICS ARMAMENT AND TECHNICAL DATA PRODUCTS (GDATP). OFFERS FROM CONCERNS OTHER THAN THOSE LISTE D ABOVE ARE NOT SOLICITED. The items to procure are: M240B Machine Gun (MG) Barrels, NSN: 1005-01-524-2427, P/N: 13008851; M240H Machine Gun (MG) Barrels, NSN: 1005-01-522-4817, P/N: 13008220; and M240D/G/N Machine Gun (MG) Barrels, NSN: 1005-01-408 -5897, P/N: 12596818. The proposed contract will be a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Requirements are: Guaranteed Minimum Quantity: M240B MG Barrels - 5,000 each; M240H MG Barrels 500 each; and M240D/G/N MG B arrels 3,500 each. FOB is origin. The barrels are for use on the M240B/D/G/H/N Machine Guns. Estimated issue date is June 23, 2006. This action is an unfunded FY06 requirement. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that canno t be provided via the Internet. Vendors, who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal, must sign the non-disclosure and non-use agreement, which will be included as an attachment to the solicitation. Signed copies of the non-disclosure and non -use agreement must be completed and submitted to the fax number provided on the agreement before a TDP will be mailed. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, C ity, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet and the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requi res the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful Offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria. army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/ index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/rec eipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Note 26 applies.
