- The US Army RDECOM Acquisition Center - Natick Contracting Division in support of the US Army Natick Soldier Center is issuing a source sought notice to determine if vendors exist who can provide the following service: Day to day travel, system admi nistration, and training support to an organization of approximately 600 employees using the Defense Travel System (DTS) at Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA. DTS provides travelers with a mechanism for electronically arranging travel, making changes before or during the trip, and completing the post-travel voucher process. It also provides for paperless electronic routing, review, and approval of the associated travel arrangements and documentation. The duties of the position(s) are to provide beginning to end administrative support to employees via telephone, email, and/or desk side to help employees: Input and update travel requests; Update travel preferences in a Personal Profile; Input and digitally sign actual trip information; Use actual trip information to prepare a claim; Review the status of a trip record at any time; Input and digitally sign supplemental information for a closed trip; Routing of documents based on organization and type of action; Track the obligation and expenditure of travel funds; Verify compliance with travel policy; Electronically approve travel claims; Provide user training, either one on one, or in a classroom environment; and Other duties as applicable in support of DTS. Systems administration duties include maintaining the organizational structure, sub-organizations, lines of accounting, and routing lists. Ensures authorizing officials are approved and designated in writing. Other duties include: Assigning roles and permission levels ; Maintaining traveler profile information (mailing addresses, phone numbers, security clearances, government credit card numbers, banking information); Adding, detaching, and deleting employees; Initiating and maintaining appointment and acknowledgement letters for accountable officials; Ensuring travelers have active Common Access Cards with Private Key Capability (digital signature) or soft token PKIs, as applicable; Establishing or overseeing the establishment of the organization routing structure for approving and certifying travel; Remaining current on all DTS changes; and Reporting problems to the DTS Tier 3 Help Desk and following up on fixes. This is solely a market survey, and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or quote. This notice is only to determine if a provider of these services exist.
