Description
The Air Force Medical Service Commodity Council (AFMSCC) offers the following update to parameters and program strategies for the Medical Administrative Support Services acquisition program. The performance locations have been changed to AFMS Locations in 50 states, DC, and Guam. Overseas requirements have been removed from this program. SERVICES will have two options: Option 1 will be to acquire full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel (pricing based on FTE by position and location). Option 2 is to acquire full service (price per unit - ex: $ per 1,000 records coded, referrals completed, etc.) Requesting locations require flexible performance periods (short and long term). The NAICS Code is 621999, All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Service. The 10 positions that will be cited in the RFP are medical Appointment Clerk, Billing Clerk, Office Clerk, Records Clerk, Secretary, Transcriptionist, Outpatient Medical Coder, Inpatient Medical Coder, Coding Auditor and Release of Information Clerk. There will be 5 full services in the RFP: Appointing, Medical Coding, Medical Records Maintenance, Medical Transcription and Referral Management. DRAFT CONTRACT STRATEGY is Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) Contracts, non-Personal Services, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, 5 year duration. Other considerations not yet finalized include small business set-aside and no cross-teaming. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE for Release of Draft RFP on or about 23 Jun 06 and the final RFP ready for release in late July. A Virtual Industry Day is scheduled for 7 Jul 06, 1:00pm - 4:00pm EST. Interested participants must contact Ms. Tina Altevers, Program Manager, Air Force Medical Service Commodity Council,(937) 255-0484, tina.altevers@wpafb.af.mil.
