Description

This is a Draft RFP FA8823-06-R-0003. Please see DRFP cover letter for additional information. The objective of this CLASS acquisition is to consolidate, unify, and simplify, multiple existing A & AS contract efforts into one. SMC LG currently has a total of 16 contracts for A & AS support. These contracts support six program offices and two staff offices. These program offices include Space Lift Range Systems (SLRS), Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Military Satellite Communication (MILSATCOM), Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS), Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) and Resource Management (RM). These program offices each has critical missions and goals and are integrally related. Each supports the health and integrity of our space systems. The Direct Weapons systems support is geared in support of the technical aspects of the requirements. The work breakdown structure include sustainment manning analysis, sustainment personnel assessment, maintenance, supportability, systems engineering, data management, supply, transportation, configuration management, weapon systems training, program management, equipment specialist, tech order management, system security engineering, test and evaluation and acquisition planning. This requirement is full and open competition.
