- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates issuing one or more award(s) for the storage of flu vaccines, manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur, Novartis (formerly Chiron), GlaxoSmithKline, and MedImmune, to be used as national strategic reserve. The storage sites may be located at one or more domestic facilities that are controlled by the vaccine manufacturers or third party distributors. Quantities in the CDC strategic reserves may vary between as much as 50,000 doses to 3,500,000 doses. The estimated period of performance is 5 to 8 months. CDC will consider all responsible sources responding to the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 07/30/2006 and the anticipated due date for receipt of proposals is 08/30/2006.
