Description

Solicitation 8006-40 seeks helicopter flight services for two separate locations. Services are for fully Contractor operated and maintained aircraft services (BH206LIII, AS350B2, AS350B3, BH206LIV with high altitude tail rotor system, or BH 407 type aircraft are expected to fulfill the solicitation requirements) to support the Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Indian Affairs in their fire management mission programs. IMPORTANT: These services are in response to terminated services and successful Contractor(s) must be capable of being on site at the applicable designated base and beginning work on June 14th or no later than five (5) days after receipt of notice of award. It is important and appreciated if only offerors who can meet the June 14th start date submit an offer. The helicopters will be based at #1, Moab, UT with a use period of 80 days, June 14 through September 1; #2, Towaoc, CO with a use period of 41 days, June 14 through July 24. These requirements are for 2006 only and do not have any options of renewal for future years. Contractor(s) must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is May 30, 2006. It is a requirement that any successful awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made. Solicitation information will be available through the fedbizopps site (found under Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, NBC, Aviation Management Headquarters, Boise, ID and at www.oas.gov. Set aside for small business.
