- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, Oregon, has a requirement to construct improvements to the domestic water system at the Spring Creek National Fish Hatchery in Underwood Washington. Work includes installation of well pump, controls, storage tank, pressure tanks, underground waterlines, valves; and upgrade for electrical service to the equipment storage building. Pending availability of funds, an additive item could be included with final award to install a Genset and transfer switch. This work includes installation of propane generator, propane fuel tank, transfer switch and all related wiring for the water system pumps and controls. Project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be a "best value" procurement with award based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government's requirement, past performance/experience with similar requirements and price. Technical capability, past performance/experience, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Solicitation number: 101816R400 may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". The solicitation response date will be approximately 10 days from posting date. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps.
