Description

Requirement for award of a firm-fixed price requirements contract to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to remove friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials (ACM) from existing buildings on an as need ed basis at Fort McCoy, WI in accordance with specifications, drawings and conditions contained in the Request for Proposal. The term of the contract will be one year with a government option to extend for 4 option years. The project magnitude is betwee n $500,000 and $1,000,000 (including all option years). A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910 with a small business size standard of $13 Million. This Request for Proposal will be solicited as Small Business Set-Aside. Proposal documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizops.gov on or about 15 June 2006. Telephonic, written, faxed, or electronic request for hard copies of p roposal documents will be denied. Interested parties must access the web page for issuance of the Request for Proposal, associated documents, and any amendments that may be issued. Contractors will NOT be directly notified of amendments. The Offer due date will be approximately 30 days after issuance (initial posting on website) as indicated on Request for Proposal. All proposal forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for proposal submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic submission of proposal documents will NOT be allowed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
