- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TSA ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (TSAAMS). The Transportation Security Administration intends to begin market research for 800 male and female pose-able mannequins. TSA intends to use the market research to determine a Qualified Vendor List (QVL). Companies that currently manufacture pose-able mannequins and provide for nationwide distribution are preferred. This sources sought notice is open to all business sizes and is not set aside specifically for small businesses. Evaluation of the capability statements may determine the Government?s requirement for setting aside the potential solicitation to small business should likely candidates be identified. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes that are applicable are 339999 ?Mannequins Manufacturing? and 423440 ?Mannequin Merchant Wholesalers? although other NAICS codes may apply as well.
