- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm-Fixed price contract with Eaton Aeroquip, Inc., 300 S. East Avenue, Jackson, MI 49203, for two (2) Fitting Set, Rynglok, P/N RTSK8-02-01 to be used on the V-22 aircraft. The Rynglok tool kit is a portable self-contained tool; designed to install Rynglok fitting sizes 03 through 24. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier, as they are the original equipment manufacturer and the data is proprietary. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
