- The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office, Folsom, CA intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract to provide a 42" x 42" motor operated slide (sluice) gate which shall meet the drawing requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable for this project is 332312. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. It is anticipated that the RFQ and drawings, will be posted for download on May 23, 2006 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov, with quotes due on or about June 6, 2006, 3:00 PM. Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor to be awarded a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register will make an offeror ineligible for award. Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All the representations and certifications which used to be submitted within Section K are now located online. Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), can be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov. Quotes may be submitted electronically or via fax to (916) 989-7296.
