Description

Stoller-Navarro Joint Venture, for the Department of Energy, 7710 West Cheyenne Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89129 Description The Stoller-Navarro Joint Venture (SNJV), located in Las Vegas NV, performing services for The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Site Office (NNSA/NSO) under prime contract DE AC52 03NA99205 is soliciting bids for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) subcontract to provide motor carrier transportation services for Hazardous Waste, Low Level radioactive waste, HAZMAT and other materials and equipment to and from the DOE Nevada Test Site (NTS) in Mercury Nevada or other NNSA/NSO locations to/from Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities or other locations. Carriers must be approved under the Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Evaluation Program. The contract award will be for a Base Period anticipated to start on or about July 1, 2006 and ending on September 30, 2006, with two one-year option periods, October 1, 2006 ? September 30, 2007 and October 1, 2007 ? September 30, 2008. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This award will be made using the Acquisition of Commercial Items procedures under FAR Part 12. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible vendor meeting all the requirements listed in the solicitation.
