Description

Notice of intent to award a firm fixed price purchase order. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price purchase order using the policies and procedures of FAR Sub Part 12.6 for the following twenty-seven (27) Notebooks: CLIN 0001- HPCompaq Business Notebook nx9600-PZ475UAXAHA , Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Intel Pentium 4 630 (3.0GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB) 1024MB 400 MHz Shared DDR II SDRAM (1 DIMM); ATI Mobility Radeon X600 with 128MB dedicated video memory; 100 GB Hard drive (5400 rpm); 17.0-inch TFT WXGA+WVA Panel; 24X DVDS/CDRW (fixed); No software selected; 56K modem; 10/100/1000 NIC; 12 cell Li-Ion battery; TouchPad; Integrated 802.11 b/g MiniPCI; 1 year Worldwide Limited Warranty. This acquisition will be conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Request for Quotes will be available on or about 24 May 2006 with responses due no later than Noon on 31 May 2006. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination thirty (30) days from date of award to 6200 Meade Road, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060-5264.
