- Description
- The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Washington, D.C. intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis, with Universal Designers & Consultants Inc., Takoma Park, MD. DIA intends to procure services to conduct a Public Accommodations Facility Survey at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center (DIAC) and DIAC Expansion located at Bolling Air force Base, Washington, D.C. This requirement entails: extensive experience in conducting assessments of facilities owned or leased by Federal Agencies, employees that have specialized and technical experience necessary to evaluate small scale diagrammatic site and floor plans, existing architectural and engineering plans, and identify structural barriers for people with disabilities, conducting a thorough on-site review and walk through of the DIAC and DIAC Expansion, provide copies of a Facility Survey Report which includes: executive summary, detailed survey report with photographs and cost estimates addressing existing conditions, potential readily achievable accessibility enhancements, future alterations accessibility issues, employment and employee accessibility issues, and other accessibility enhancement recommendations. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals must be received within 7 days. Responses should reference AC403-0011Z-06. A determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
