Description
NAICS Code: 334310 This synopsis is being provided to publish a requirement for the Office of Administration and Resource Management (OARM) of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Cincinnati, OH which is seeking a qualified small businesses to provide multimedia presentation equipment. The contractor shall provide all equipment and parts/cables for multi-media systems for nine (9) conference rooms, to include state-of-the-art ceiling mounted projector with remote control, 4 additional replacement bulbs, VCR/DVDR combo, projection screens, speakers, and mixer/amplifiers. Face plates, connectors, and custom media cabinets, shall be provided by the contractor. The government will provide computers to run the system. The resulting purchase order will include an optional line-item for the contractor to provide installation of the multi-media equipment upon the completion of Annex 2. THE EPA HAS SET THIS ACQUISITION ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The North American Industry Classification Code is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. A written solicitation, RFQ-OH-06-00135, is anticipated to be issued on around Friday June, 2. The solicitation will be issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The government's Statement of Work, complete with specifications and drawings will be announced in the RFQ. Quotes will be due approximately two weeks after the RFQ is issued. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by the Agency. This procurement will be pursued using FAR Part 12 Commercial Acquisition methods and procedures. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from the solicitation to the offeror whose quotation is low cost and technically acceptable. Ability to meet the government's requirements within the specified performance dates shall constitute the standards of acceptability for this requirement, and as previously mentioned, these details will be made available in the RFQ. The purchase order issued will be firm fixed price, with an optional line item for installation.
