- The Marine Corps Systems Command, on behalf of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, is soliciting for the following ancillary equipment: 1) Headset, Ultra Light (Part Number: ENMN4012A) (50 each); Carrying Case (Part Number: HLN9701B) (12 each); Programming Software (Part Number: HVN9025R) (2 each); and Programming Cable (Part Number: RKN4075A) (2 each). The listed ancillary equipment is required to support equipment already procured and in use by the government. The required equipment will ensure correct fit and operability of the system and associated ancillary equipment among operating forces in the Marine Corps. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are fully functional. The required delivery for the desired part numbers is no later than 30 June 2006. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Offers submitted on a basis other than F.O.B. Destination may be considered non-responsive. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies and procedures contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Award will be made on a best value basis with technical and delivery schedule, when combined, being considerably more important than cost or price. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. All interested parties must submit quote no later than 29 May 2006 via fax (703-784-1379) or email @ beverly.j.williams@usmc.mil.
