- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to issue solicitation N65236-06-R-0820 as a sole source commercial item contract pursuant to the test procedures under FAR 13.5 to General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc., 77 A Street, Needham, MA 02492. The procurement covers the purchase of four (4) Gen III NSM-20M Nodal Satellite Multiplexer to be integrated in the existing Compact Broad Band Remote Antenna Systems (COBRA). General Dynamics has proprietary design rights to meet specific critical design, functional and operational requirements in a single enclosed unit and in a single rack form necessary for Special Operations Force (SOF) mission support. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The FSC Code is 5985. The NAICS Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may inquire about the process to have their products tested and evaluated for future procurements by submitting their comments in writing to Mr. Hanh Chau, Code 0271HC, Contract Specialist, at hanh.h.chau@navy.mil no later than 1200 (EST) on 26 May 2006.
