- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery Time and Materials type contract in support the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Logistics Division. The services are required to support the MARMC Logistics Division to determine the logistics requirements of the Fleet and deliver the full spectrum of necessary resources in order to maximize Fleet readiness and sustainment; and support MARMC Maintenance Teams by providing Material and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for ship repair, modernization, and new construction; and to perform material distribution tasks for various commands. While specific tasks will be outlined in task orders, generally these tasks will be related to: 1) logistics department procedures; 2) integrated logistics support; and 3) warehousing, inventory control and material distribution. The Period of performance of the resulting contract will be from 15 September 2006 through 14 September 2007 with provisions for four (4) one (1) year option periods. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The FSC Code is M179 and the NAICS is 541614. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http:www2.eps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about 10 June 2006. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended of debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. NOTE 1 APPLIES.
