- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport anticipates modifying contract N66604-05-C-4223 with L-3 Communications Corporation, Ocean Systems, Sylmar, CA to conduct additional acoustic and hydrodynamic analysis and testing related to the TB-23 Sonar. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Completion type effort is intended. This is a sole source acquisition as the contractor which is the original equipment manufacturer is the only one with the experience and expertise required by this effort. See note 22. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable.
