- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N61128-06-R-0005 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for procurement of a 50 KW Diesel Generator, installation, perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repair. Specifications are as follows: Caterpillar, Model D50-4S quiet diesel generator set rated at 50KW standby power, 1800 RPM, 120/240V, single phase, 60Hz, complete with all standard equipment. The Preventive Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) shall be performed on a quarterly basis for one year. PMI consists of three Service Level 1 inspections with one Service Level 2 inspection performed on the final quarter. The generator will be installed approximately 30 feet away from the existing 200 amp manual transfer switch. The contractor shall submit installation drawing for approval. The contractor shall perform necessary testing prior to commissioning of the 50KW generator. POC for site visit is Allan Cortezano at (671) 898-0675. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09 Effective 19Apr06. The provisions at 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 apply to this acquisition. The contractor is required to include a completed copy of 52.212-3 as part of their proposal.
