- The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office, Folsom, CA intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract for providing and installing: 1) case wear rings; 2) machining the rotating seal rings; 3) new shaft and key; 4) new shaft packing sleeves with o-ring grooves; 5) new shaft sleeve o-rings; 6) new shaft sleeve nuts; 7) recontour the impeller; and 8) balancing the rotating assembly for a Worthington Pump, Model 20-LAS-2 pump. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable for this project is 811310. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $6.5 million. It is anticipated that the RFQ, drawing, and Statement of Work, will be posted for download on May 19, 2006 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov, with quotes due on or about May 31, 2006, at 3:00 PM. Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor to be awarded a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All the representations and certifications which used to be submitted within Section K are now located online, and a copy must be submitted with the quote. Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), can be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov. Quotes may be submitted electronically or via fax.
