- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the commercial items as prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NBQ060027 and is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 2005-09. This is an unrestricted acquisition under NAICS 541519 for which the corresponding size standard is 23 million dollars. CLIN 0001 Internet Security Systems (ISS) Proventia Network IPS GX4002-C appliance - fail open, 2 tx-copper ports, GX4002-C-1-P, Qty 1. CLIN 0002 ISS tech support, advanced exchange and updates, Proventia Network IPS GX4002-C appliance. One year contract. GX4002-C-1-M, Qty 1 Products and services should be delivered FOB Destination beginning 30 days ARO to the Denver Federal Center, Bldg. 53, Denver, CO 80225. Acceptance of services shall occur at final destination point. The provision of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without any addenda to the provision. The provision of FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Compliance with the solicitation requirement and price are the factors to be used in the evaluation and are of equal importance. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. Contract clause 52.212-4, Contact Terms and conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the following addenda to the clause; FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition to include clauses 52.203-6, 52.219-4, 52.219-8, 52.219-23, 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33. Additional contract terms and conditions that apply to this acquisition include 52.203-3, Gratuities; 52.242-13, Bankruptcy; Clauses Incorporated by Reference (http://acquisition.gov/comp/far/index.html). Quotations are due no later than 5:00 P.M.
