- Notice of intent to modify existing contract for additional quantities. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, subpart 6.302-1, the REDCOM Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to increase the total orde r quantity for contract DAAD21-03-C-0005 with Coronet Machinery, 56 Worth Street, Yonkers, NY 10703 on a sole source basis for 27,500 each pusher plates and 27,500 each body assembly for the Grenade M90 LVOSS. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the governments needs. Detailed ca pabilities must be submitted to REDCOM Acquisition Center, 10-020 Kabrich Circle, Bldg 17-120 ARSRD-ACC-P, Attn: V. House, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government . If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a modification to existing contract may be issued to Coronet Machinery without further notice.
