- NRCS will soon be requesting services under a Firm Fixed Price contract for site preparation activities, planting and protection, and hand spray of grass competition on 14 Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) easements in Grays Harbor County, Washington. Site preparation will be completed in Fall of 2006 and may include mowing, HyGro tilling, broadcast hand spray prior to planting, hand scalping, rotovating, and/or dozer/brush blade. One or more site preparation techniques will be used on each easement. Planting will be completed between February 1 and April 15 of 2007. Installation of protectors will occur immediately following planting and will be completed by June 1 of 2007. Hand spray will be completed between April 1 and April 21 of 2007. The solicitation will be issued electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about June 9, 2006. Requests for a hardcopy solicitation must be in writing. The price range is $250,000-$500,000.
