- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W911SE-06-R-0005 to provide supply and transportation support services for Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem, Georgi a. The requirement calls for services to provide all management, administration, and labor necessary to perform the following Installation Supply and Transportation Support Services. Supply responsibilities/functions include: supply operations and relat ed logistical services in accordance with the performance work statement consisting of property control, management, storage, and services associated with providing and controlling supplies, material, and equipment; support and manage Ammunition Supply Poi nt functions (Supervisor and all personnel working in Ammo Supply Point shall have all required Government certifications to operate Ammo Supply facilities); operate STAMIS and other agency systems; verify hand receipt holders and perform 100% physical inv entories annually. Transportation responsibilities/functions consist of providing transportation services to all specified units and activities within the Fort McPherson area of responsibility to include: unit movements, material movements, packing and cr ating, personnel and port call movements, central receiving point (CRP), and General Services Administration (GSA) fleet management. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $30 Million. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as 100% HubZone Set-Aside with the requirement that all interested offerors shall have an established headquarters or bonafide working office, located within a HubZone, within a 150-mile radius of Fort McPherson, Georgia. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about January 31, 2006. RFPs will be due on or about March 3, 2006, 2:00 p.m. EST. The resulting contract will be for a base period of 12 months with fou r (4) one-year option periods. There will be a scheduled Site Visit for this requirement; the time and date of the site visit will be stated in the RFP.
