- Description
- The General Services Administration on behalf of the Fort Huachuca Battle Command Battle Laboratory, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Clean Earth Technologies, LLC., of Earth City, Missouri. The requirement is to design, build, and demonstrate the operational advantages of a small, lightweight, fully integrated hyperspectral imager (HIS) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) i.e., a HYPERSAR sensor on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) utilizing, to the greatest extent possible, commercial off the shelf (COTS) technology. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than close of business on May 23, 2006. Responses may be submitted via e-mail or fax. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. This notice is for information purposes only; it is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No additional notice will be published. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit qualification statements and technical literature which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
