Description
SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston has a requirement for Heavy Duty, Non-Locking Masts and Tank Less Pneumatic Compressors to support USMC Mobile Electronic Warfare Support System (MEWSS) Light Armored Vehicles (LAV). This procurement will be awarded through a competitive process. This is a commercial item requirement to purchase 12 Heavy Duty, Non-Locking Masts. In an effort to maintain uniform/standardized equipment with existing LAV upgrade program, The following specifications apply. 1. Payload capacity must meet or exceed 150 pounds. 2. Nested height must be 7 feet (2.1 meters). 3. Extended height must be 29 feet 1 inch (8.9 meters). 4. Mast weight must not exceed 125 pounds. 5. Mast must not allow the intrusion of water during the MIL-STD-810 water test. 6. Maximum mast operating pressure must not exceed 35 PSIG. 7. Mast must operate using a tank less air compressor. 8. Mast compressor must be at least 1/3 HP. 9. Mast compressor power draw must not exceed 23 amps at 24 VDC. 10. Mast compressor weight can not exceed 27 pounds. 11. Mast compressor dimensions can not exceed 16 X 8 X 15 inches (Length X Height X Width). 12. Maximum output pressure can not exceed 35 PSI. 13. Mast must be non-rotateable. 14. Mast availability shall not exceed 10-12 weeks ARO. This procurement will be awarded based on conformance to the above specifications and price. The NAICS Code is 333999 and the size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Responses to this request for proposal is due by COB 24 MAY 06.
