- Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for course curriculum development for their Business and Financial Managers (BFM) job series. This will be a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The contract would have a base period of performance of one year, with four one-year options. In November 2005 a study of NAVAIR BFMs was conducted to identify areas of improvement and a potential course listing that could be developed to better the areas identified. NAVAIR wishes to develop a curriculum through a group of various courses to train all of the BFMs nationwide. This information is included in the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). NAVAIR is seeking information from offerors that would be interested in this requirement and asking them to submit a capabilities statement. The capability statement should include the offeror?s history of providing services similar in nature along with their business size/type based on a size standard of $6.5 million. The NAICS code we anticipate using for this requirement is 611310, but interested companies may suggest alternative codes for consideration. Capability statement should be limited to 3 pages. Interested offerors are also asked to review the SOO and submit any questions/comments they might have that would make it easier for them to present an offer once the solicitation is released. Not responding to the sources sought notice will not preclude a company from submitting an offer once the solicitation is released.
