Description
Requirements Contract for one base year plus 2 option years to purchase/exchange Allison Transmissions. Estimated quantity of approximately 100 transmissions per year for model HT 754 CRD(M915A1); 50 transmissions per year for the HT 740(M915A2); 20 tra nsmissions per year for the HT740 D (HEMTT Series); 30 transmissions per year for the CLT 755 (PLS Series) and 20 transmissions per year for the CLT 754 (HET). Contractor must pick-up cores from and deliver the rebuilt-repaired unit to: TX-RSMS 748 E. McLeroy, Saginaw, TX 76179-4606. Offerors are notified that this acquisition is subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 15.3, Source Selection. Offerors must be registered in the Online Repres entations and Certifications Application(ORCA)and ensure the information posted is current. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract. It is anticipated that the solicitati on will be available for release on or about 30 Jun 2006. The solicitation and any related documents for this acquisition will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportuniti es(FedBizOps)at http://www.eps.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of thte solicitation, amendments (if applicable) and responses to any ques tion s submitted in accordance with the solicitation procedures.
