Description

This amendment is being issued to extend the offer due date and to add information to CLIN 0001, item description block. The offer due date currently reads: 19 May 2006 at 1000 hours is amended to read: 23 May 2006 at 1600 hours. The following inform ation is added to CLIN 0001 item description: The level of bullet resistance required is UL level 8 designed to protect against military assault rifles and the like with the muzzle energy of 2,519-3,048 foot pounds, full metal jacket, military ballistics, 150 grain ammunition, and a minimum velocity of 2,750 FPS to a maximum of 3,025 FPS; Must include Air Conditioning/Heater with warranty. No other changes are authorized unless processed through the NVARNG Contracting Officer. The solicitation is extended and the offer must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation or as amended by one of the following methods: 1 - By completing Items 8 and 15 and returning 1 copy of the amendment after obtaining a copy f rom the USPFO for Nevada P & C Office, SGT Gina Putt 775-887-7868, 2 - by acknowledging receipt of this amendment on each copy of offer submitted or 3 - by a separate letter or telegram which includes a reference to the solicitation and amend ment numbers. FAILURE OF YOUR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO BE RECEIVED AT THE PLACE DESIGNATED FOR THE RECEIPT OF OFFERS PRIOR TO THE HOUR AND DATE SPECIFIED MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF YOUR OFFER. If by virtue of this amendment you desire to change an offer already submitted, such change may be made by telegram or letter, provided each telegram or letter makes reference to the solicitation and this amendment, and is received prior to the opening hour and date specified.
