- This requirement is sole source to Daniels Mfg Corp, 526 Thorpe Rd., Orlando, FL 32824-8133. Authority: 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is to establish an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract consisting of a Basic and two 24 month Out-year Ordering Periods for the purchase of NSN: 5180-01-349-6015, P/N: DMC919A. NOUN: TOOL KIT, A/C Maint. Contract Minimum is 3 EA, Contract Maximum: 60 EA. Contract order minimum for basic is 1 each and the maximum order is 20 each Contract order minimum for each out year is 1 each and the maximum order is 10 each. FUNC: Crimp/uncrimp. fastner ends, etc associated with aircraft maintenance. DEL: 120 ARO order for the remainder. SIZE/DIMENTIONS: Height: Approx 12?, Width: Approx 24?. Depth: Approx 24? , Pounds: Approx 50 pound. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel/aluminum. APPLICABLE: Multiple Aircraft. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 31 May 2006 with an approximate response date of 30 June 2006. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.fbo.gov <http://www.FedBizOpps.gov> website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. See note: 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 26. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
