- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Waseca, Minnesota will be issuing a solicitation to obtain dry goods / subsistence food. The contractor will provide a variety of dry goods for the food service department. An order will be placed by an institution contracting officer to the contractor in writing, telephonically, or by fax or other acceptable means to complete the order based on prices obtained from the solicitation. All deliveries are to arrive at the receiving area (FCI Waseca warehouse) between 7:30am - 11:00am & 12:00pm - 3:00pm or at the discretion of the institution. The order will be shipped complete, no partial shipments will be accepted. Supplies shall be delivered Monday through Thursday with the exception of weekends and federal holidays. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Waseca, Minnesota intends to make a single award to a contractor for providing the following dry goods. Beans (great northern, lentils, navy, pinto), Farina, coffee, cornmeal, salad dressing, tuna (canned), vanilla flavoring, gelatin (cherry, lemon, lime, orange, raspberry, strawberry), crushed pineapple, grape jelly, margerine, mustard, salad oil, pasta noodles, peanut butter, relish, rice, shortening, cocoa powder, garlic powder, salt, brown sugar, white sugar, syrup, tomato paste, pickles, vinegar. Award is anticipated to be July 01, 2006 based on the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or after May 23, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
