Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to Dredge the Boat Basin to the limits and cross sections shown using mechanical means. Dredge materials shall be deposited onto barges for offloading into trucks for transport to a contractor obtained upland disposal site. The total estimated amount of material to be removed from within the specified limits, including side slopes and exclusive of overdepths is 290 cubic yards. The maximum amount of allowable overdepth dredging is 460 cubic yards. The total estimated quantity, including overdepth, 750 cubic yards. Contractor shall be paid for additional cubic yards of dredge material needed to achieve project depth requirements. Additional dredging and overdepth dredging quantities to be determined by ?before and after? soundings. Provide unit cost per cubic yard of additional dredge material removed from the basin to achieve the specified limits above 290 cubic yards and exclusive of overdepth dredging. Complete Solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP) to be posted without delay, with offers due within seven days of RFP posting. Work to commence within 7 days of award with completion time of 42 DANTP. This procurement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable NAICS is 237990 with a size standard of $18.5M. To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. Completion time is 42 DANTP. This project is set aside for small businesses. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS.
