- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for up to 45,000 new 1680 MHz (ART) Type IIA Radiosondes and up to 5,000 reconditioned 1680 MHz (ART) Type IIA Radiosondes. Only radiosonde models which are included on the applicable NWS Qualified Products List will be eligible for award. The NWS expects to make two awards to satisfy this requirement; however, the NWS reserves the right to make a single award. Radiosonde deliveries will be made F.O.B. Destination to the National Logistics Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri commencing no sooner than two months after award. Solicitation DG133W-06-RP-0152 will be issued on or about June 16, 2006 and will close on or about July 17, 2006. See Notes 12, 23 and 26.
