Description

This work was previously advertised under canceled RFP #AG-04GG-S-06-0021. This RFP is for the same work but offered under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Project and is open to both Large & Small Businesses under NAICS code 236220. The work consists of renovating 3250 S.F. at the Lava Lands Visitor Center and constructing a 1500 S.F. addition. Demolition work includes the removal of non-bearing interior walls, ductwork, electrical panels, and wiring. Construction includes: Concrete, Carpentry, Finishes, Electrical, Lighting and HVAC upgrades to meet current codes and energy standards. Restrooms receive new fixtures and upgrades to meet current ADA/ABA standards. Estimated price range is: $500,000 - $1,000,000. The work is located on the Deschutes National Forest, Lava Lands Visitor Center, 58201 S. Hwy. 97, Bend, OR. An RFP with applicable drawings, plans, etc. will be posted to FedBizOpps on or around May 17, 2006 with a closing date approximately 30 days later. Work is expected to commence by mid-June 2006 with a completion date 180 days later.
