Description: This project is to construct retrofitted bridge railings to the Summit Creek trail bridge. The retrofitted railing is constructed of wood and steel cable. The work areas are located in on the Stanislaus National Forest in Tuolumne County. From Sonora, California, travel approximately 56.5 miles east on State Highway 108 to the road to Kennedy Meadows Resort, then proceed south on this road for approximately 1.5 miles. Estimated length of construction 10 days. Estimated government price range is between $25,000 to $100,000. Estimated start date is September 24, 2006.
