- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Employee Services Division (ESD), Physical Security Branch is seeking the assistance of a Quality Security Integrator contractor to assist with the planning, installation and integration of a system wide modern security Enterprise. This includes the installation, management, and implementation of physical security upgrades to protect mission-critical USDA facilities located in a multitude of geographic locations throughout the western region of the continental United States. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services and supplies contract with incidental construction contract is anticipated for these services. The effective period of the contract shall be on or about July 10, 2006, or date of award, whichever is later. The contract will include a base with four options to extend the effective period. The solicitation, AG-6395-S-06-0004, will be released at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about May 31, 2006. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERER?S REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFERER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES. Proposals shall be submitted to the contracting activity by the date and time indicated in the invitation for proposal. All proposals shall have the solicitation number placed on the front of the proposal envelope.
